Defeat DIPG Superhero Sprint & 6K

We are so grateful for all who participated in the 6th Annual Virtual ChadTough Defeat DIPG Superhero Sprint & 6K. 88 people joined our #TeamHudson race team, 93 donated and we raised over $6,500 towards a cure for DIPG. Over $9,000 if you include race registrations!

Our family walked twice: once on a camping trip with family, and again with friends through our neighborhood.

The family walk through the woods included my brother’s family, my parents and my 91-years-young grandma. We hiked 1 mile and came across heart and angel-shaped leaves, an H in the trees and a monarch butterfly at the beginning & end of our walk. We listened to Hudson’s playlist (10,000 Reasons, This Little Light of Mine, You are my Sunshine, Jealous of the Angels…) and thought of him every step of the way.

Our neighborhood walk being rescheduled due to rain meant that more than half of the families who’d planned to attend were unable. However, those of who walked lucked out with nice weather & a fun group. We were also blessed to have family of Michael Mosier walk with us in honor of him. Thank you to all who made it!
