Lip Sync Battle benefitting ChadTough Defeat DIPG

The 1st annual Lip Sync Battle benefitting ChadTough Defeat DIPG was a smashing success! 7 groups competed for the championship trophy, including songs from Journey, Grease and Abba among others. Yours truly even performed as one of the Spice Girls with a few close friends. It was a close call, but in the end Alyson and Neal won with their amazing rendition of “You’re the One that I Want” - taking place at none other than Hudson High.

The event included multiple creative ways to donate, and it became more entertaining as the night progressed. The DJ played songs based upon request (and monetary contribution), and a silent auction quickly became the 2nd battle of the night. Items included Chiefs gear such as a Mahomes signed helmet (!), golf and tennis prizes, food and beverage items and more.

Thank you to the Overland Park Racquet Club for hosting this awesome event! Those of us who attended had a blast, and raised almost $5,000 for ChadTough Defeat DIPG!!!
